Classes & Our Policies

All breeds and breed mixes are welcome! We have no breed restrictions. Dogs that are reactive to other dogs may participate as well, so long as they are under control of their handler at all times. The searches are set up to be completed by one dog/team at a time. All other dogs will either be contained in their crate or in the car.

Dogs that are reactive to humans may be able to participate, but we should discuss your dogs need prior to registering for a class to make sure it's the right fit!

Dogs that are aggressive to other dogs and humans may not be able participate in group classes. We should discuss your dog's needs and see what would be the best fit for your dog!

Ongoing K9 Nose Work® Classes

"4beginnerdogs" - Nosework Classes
This class is perfect for dogs who have completed an Intro to Nosework series and are ready to continue their Nosework journey! We’ll build on the foundational skills learned in the intro classes while introducing more challenging searches and scenarios.

For teams interested in competing, we’ll work toward skills needed for the NACSW Odor Recognition Test (ORT) and NW1 trials, as well as AKC Novice-level Scent Work trials. Most searches will feature at least one hide, with occasional opportunities to work more complex searches featuring 2–4 hides. This class is a ongoing, 5 week series.

This class is also great if you took some time off from Nosework and want to get back into it, OR if you have a higher level dog that you're looking to do fun foundational searches with!

$250 per 5 Class Series OR $60 per drop in ( when space & availability allows)

Tentative Start Date, November 2026... Just ironing logistics with a potential location 😊

"4advanceddogs" - Nosework Classes

This class is designed for dogs working at the NW2–NW3 level with NACSW or Advanced level and beyond with AKC Scent Work. Searches will become more challenging and may include **0–5 hides**, environmental and container distractors, and increasingly complex search areas.Teams will also practice **blank searches, unknown numbers of hides, and handler decision-making**, helping handlers learn to trust their dogs and confidently determine when a search is complete. This class is ideal for teams looking to strengthen their skills and prepare for higher-level competition, should you choose to trial, but not required!

$250/5 Class Series OR $60 per drop in ( when space & availability allows)

Location and Start Date: TBD, and likely early 2027!
